Just a few odds and ends today. SirPuttsAlot has posted a new PGA Player Profile… one of the young up and coming players on Tour… Luke Donald.
We had an email today asking about an update on the Chad Campbell sponsor search. Chad has been playing this year without a golf equipment sponsor… a plain bag filled with mainly Ping and Cleveland clubs. It is not that he’s not wanted… just that he hasn’t decided on who to sign with. Ping Golf and Cleveland Golf seem to be the frontrunners now but nothing official has been announced. Interesting to see a guy not jumping at the big money and actually taking his time to make a good decision!
Cobra Golf introduced a new wedge recently. The Cobra “C” Wedge features different sole widths… a MS (mid-sole) and a WS (wide-sole). These are really designed to be a game improvement, maximum forgiveness club… hence the wider soles. Check them out at www.cobragolf.com .
