I can’t believe that I’m up so early on a Sunday morning. It seems that the older I get, the less I want to sleep in. I’m up… so I might as well throw together a post. A few odds and ends today so let’s get to it.

Yes! Golf has added another putter to their ever-expanding line. The company introduced the Carolyne at the PGA Show and it will be available this week. The Carolyne is a center shafted, face-balanced blade and it features the same C-Groove technology that has made the company famous. The newest Yes! model will be available in a number of lengths including a belly and long version.

La Jolla Golf has introduced Gun Metal wedges for juniors. La Jolla Golf has a really solid junior line and these wedges should be very popular. Watch for these in 56 and 60 degree versions… both featuring a flexible graphite shaft and a Winn grip.

We talked a bit about Trion:Z wrist bands a few weeks ago and it looks like they are really starting to take off. I won’t really get into the technology behind these besides that they are designed to help alleviate fatigue, lack of concentration and aches. I think the thing that people really like is the their unique look. Check out the Trion:Z website for more details. We’re in the process of ordering some and I’m very curious to see how they work. I’ll keep you updated!

Srixon’s signing of Jim Furyk was pretty big news at the end of last year and it looks like he is now playing even more of the company’s equipment. The company has announced that Furyk is now playing the Srixon W-506 driver too. The W-506 is 450CC and is designed to create “optimum deformation”… resulting in extra distance. Furyk says he is getting an extra 8-10 yards with the new club. Speaking of Furyk… don’t be surprised if there is an apparel switch in his future!

That’s all for now. I’ll be back on Monday with more from the world of golf. Thanks for all of the email… we’re almost caught up so keep them coming. A special hello to everyone in the North East states… sounds like you’re having some interesting weather up there! I guess you’ll just have to stay home from work and visit our site!
