Cleveland Golf To Sell “TA” Name

Cobra will keep their current woods through next year. The new equipment I mentioned in an earlier post should be available in Oct or Nov.

If you have seen the new ad for the Cleveland Launcher iron, you may notice there is no mention of the “TA” name. Cleveland has recently talked about selling the “TA” name to Nike. My source says that the new Cleveland products will all have names instead of the “TA” name. The new Launcher iron is basically the TA6 with a different name.

You can see the new TaylorMade R5 Dual driver at www.taylormadegolf.com in the metal woods section. These guys really have too much technology and are beginning to confuse most consumers I talk to.

About SirShanksAlot

Hi. I'm SirShanksAlot. I spent most of my early adult life working in the golf industry and I even started a blog about it. Then one day I decided that it was time to move on and I officially became a '9 to 5'er" like the rest of you. Now I watch golf on TV and attempt to play it on the weekends.
