Golf Club Buying Guide

Simple as they seem, golf balls are not created equally. Nor do they react the same to a golfer's swing, for any given shot. Each model has unique performance nuances, leaving most golfers confused regarding how to buy the best one for their game. After all, it's easy to become overwhelmed by ball packaging and marketing claims.
The latest drivers include a slew of 460cc clubheads that collectively hit the ball as far as they ever have. Because drivers are usually about getting you distance, you want the model that helps you produce the fastest ball speed for your swing.
Let’s face it… golf can be a very expensive game. Sure we’d all love to buy the latest and greatest clubs year after year but it seems like those pesky bills and mortgages get in the way.
Good evening everyone and thanks for stopping by. Tonight we've got a bit of a treat for you. Former Golf Magazine senior editor Scott Kramer has offered some of his new e-book for our readers to check out. This excerpt focuses on putters. More information on Scott and his book can be found at the bottom of the post. Enjoy!
I don't know how many times people have come into my store with intentions of buying new clubs but they have no idea of where to start. Do I go with what my favourite PGA player uses? Maybe I get what my friend has. Wow.. those look shiny, what about them? It's my job to find you a set of clubs that will work, but it's your job to give me some tools to help in the search.
