Nike’s latest line-up for 2014 features the next generation of Covert driver, woods and fairway woods after some good success with their release last year.  This new line is expected to hit market in January, 2014.  Enjoy the details and pictures below!

Nike VRS Covert 2.0 Driver

For this year’s driver model Nike recently described their improvements in a press release, here’s what they had to say: “we re-engineered the VRS Covert 2.0 with enhancements to our High Speed Cavity Back technology that allow athletes to experience more forgiving distance than ever before,” says Nate Radcliffe, Nike Golf Director of Engineering. “The new VRS Covert 2.0 driver features a redesigned cavity with Fly-Brace technology that ties the sole to the crown. By stiffening the rear portion of the club, more energy is transferred to the face at impact. The end result is even greater ball speed and up to six yards of distance gain over last year’s model.” This new driver also features a larger NexCOR face and FlexLoft adjustability (15 lofts in one).

Nike Covert 2.0 Fairway Woods

The new line-up of fairway woods features similar improvements to the cavity back portion of the clubs, a lower center of gravity and higher launch with reduced spin to further improve distance.  Nike claims these improvements should give you an extra 6 yards on the course over last years models. These fairway woods also feature the FlexLoft tech and a Mitsubishi Rayon Kuro Kage stock shaft.
